HTML5 issue- Exit button not working

Apr 22, 2013

Exit button is visible but its not working. We are unable to exit course on iPad. It working fine in Flash output (when checked from IE or Safari) but HTML5 output is not working.

Any pointers would be really helpful.

Hi Amit!

The original release of Storyline did not support the Exit course trigger in HTML5 output. However, this support was added in Update 1 for Storyline.

Can you confirm you're using the most recent version of Storyline? To find this information click on "Help" and "About Articulate Storyline". If you're not running version 2 (1212.1412), please download and install Update 2 from the link below. After updating, try republishing your course and testing it on the iPad.

Articulate Storyline > Download Update 2

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks,

Christine

Hi Amit,

Thank you very much for confirming!

You may also want to check your settings in Safari. You may find that Articulate Storyline's HTML5 output doesn't load as expected in Safari when the Private Browsing feature is enabled. Please review the following article for more information:

HTML5 output doesn't load correctly in Safari with Private Browsing enabled

If the "Exit" button on your course still isn't working, are you able to share the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look and test the file. You're also welcome to send the file to us privately, if you prefer.

Thanks Amit!

Hello Christine,

Present we are facing the same issues. If you find any break through for it, can you please let me know.

Present we are using Storyline Update 3 version while publishing the courses.

The HTML output exit button is working in Safari but not in Chrome and Firefox.

Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Sudhakar
