html5 problem with quiz review feedback

Mar 31, 2016

I've made a course with a custom review layer for navigation through the quiz. When I hit the review button in the regular html output, the custom review nav (the blue strip in the attached image) and the Correct/Incorrect strip show up fine. As I have a custom Review layer, the SL default PREV/NEXT doesn't show.

However, when I review in html5, the SL default PREV/NEXT shows up at the bottom right of the screen (see image), even though the quiz slides have no PREV/NEXT buttons set up.

To make things worse, there is what looks like a small black x under the Storyline NEXT button as well.

I'd be happy to take out my custom Nav strip, but even then, the weird x at the bottom right looks bad.

I'm guessing this behavior is a SL html5 bug, but if anyone has a workaround, please do share.

Hi, Rob -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry for your troubles! Would it be possible for you to share your file? I believe I have located an existing ticket in with our QA team for review, but I want to check it out to confirm, if possible.

If you'd prefer not to share publicly, no problem! Here is the form you'd need to share for private review. :)
