html5 published plays sluggish

Dec 20, 2012

I have been trying to get html5 courses published from storyline to play on iPad well

But I find issues with following

- when there is bit of transition effects

- audio on slides

I am uploading the course to my webserver to run it on iPad ..

I am doing lot of native html5- js development so pretty familiar with html5 issues..

I think storyline uses flash to communicate between js ?

Is this causing the issue??

I am about to publish another set of courses and want to know if there is a solution

thanks

Hemant

Hi Hemant,

Have you tried viewing the content through the Articulate Mobile Player on the iPad? If so, do you experience the same slowness?

I know you mentioned you're familiar with HTML5, but you might want to take a look at this comparison chart to see what features are supported in HTML5 and the Mobile Player, if you haven't already.

Thanks!
