HTML5 Strange Text Error

Hi guys,
I'm just wondering if any of you can tell me what is causing the issue displayed in the screenshot below. The font in use is English Grotesque and for some reason, whenever the letters 'Fi' are next to each other (not case sensitive) it replaces them with this weird 'J' looking symbol. Likewise, when the letters 'fl' are displayed they are replaced with a strange 'Q' looking symbol. This only happens in the HTML5 version of the export, the flash version works flawlessly. Can anybody tell me what's going on or how to fix it?
Thanks.
PS. The course is bespoke to a major company, so I've had to blur out certain logos and words for privacy. No need to adjust your television sets.

I'm afraid I don't have a solution to your problem but I possibly know why your problem only appears when trying to display "fi" and "fl". In some fonts these 2 characters cause a ligature and are replaced by a special character. It looks like this special character is missing and has been replaced by an "J" for no good reason.
Hi Stephen,
Your explanation certainly makes sense. I just don't understand why it's suddenly started doing this. We've had this course for a few months now and up until the latest export we've never had this problem. HTML5 has caused me so many headaches recently!
What version of Storyline are you using?
If your on 360 / 3 I would recommend updating* and seeing if the "Modern Text" engine (Link to help page) and seeing if that helps you.
*Though I wouldn't do it just yet...latest updates have been giving a lot of users bugs rendering SL useless at the minute.
Also nice job on masking the client name and logo but I'd recognise that bottle cap anywhere...if there are any samples going send them my way.
Bugger! I totally forgot the bottle cap haha. I'll try to change the image.
I'm on Storyline 3 Update 2: 3.2.13213.0
I'll take a look at that 'Modern Text' engine and see what happens. Cheers.
Sorry I just read the link I sent, it's just SL360 it's on at the minute...I imagine they'll patch it over to 3 in the next update.
Yes, you're right, James! Modern Text will be coming to Storyline 3 in the next update, which is due for this quarter.
Jordan, would you be able to privately share your project with our support team here? If you can, let them know what browser you're using to view your project after publishing. They'll let you know if there's an issue we have on our radar for this behavior.
Thanks!
