My association is currently reviewing LMS proposals and I need clarification on SCORM as it creates additional fees. If I publish my SL360 files in HTML5 is that still considered a SCORM file or is it an HTML5 file? Thanks for your help.
The two are not mutually exclusive. HTML5 is a web standard that defines a set of rules how content is created, organized and displayed in browsers. SCORM defines a standard interface between an LMS and content (regardless of the authoring tool that was used to create that content). You can publish Storyline content AS HTML5 FOR SCORM, as described here.
