Huge Error!
Jul 24, 2013
Hi there, my name is Ben. I've been using Articulate for a while now (4-5 months) and I've never encountered something so catastrophic. I have a project I've been developing for someone for a while now, everything was set and ready to publish but just this morning, I opened the project to review it once more and ALL the photo's I've inserted are no longer visible (this project is consisted completely of photo's and is 25 minutes long...) All the assets are on the timeline in the right place, I just can't see them on the screen. Even the narration that is on every screen can't be processed anymore and causes Articulate to freeze every time I open the Audio editor. And yes, video as well can't be processed by Storyline. Every asset has vanished visually and the audio is no longer working. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! THIS IS THE WORST TIME FOR THIS TO HAVE HAPPENED!

Do you have a backup?
Sounds like nit may be corrupted, try importing into a new file.
I had that yesterday - disappearing images, yet all Thumbnails look fine.
Has happened twice now.
You need to go to a backup.
Bruce
I unfortunately didn't backup, Thanks anyways guys
Hi Ben! Did you try to import into a new file as Phil suggested?
Ben,
You could also try opening up a second instance of Storyline and copying and pasting a slide over to the blank presentation to see if the images appear. If so, just copy all your scenes over to the new project.
