We have an module with some documents to download. On a pc, this works fine. However, opened on a Ipad or Samsung device, the download doesn't work. We us the articulate player. This is a link:
I'm not sure I understand - but you won't be able to use the resources tab as a part of player for viewing in the mobile player on ipad or android tablets. If you need to include a PDF, I'd look at uploading the PDF to a server, and then either linking to that URL or embedding that as web object for users to be able to see and view it in the mobile player.
Hi Joep, Will it download when you set up a link to the PDF on the slide and point it to the file on the server? Or have you tried this from within the player yet?
I don't know that you can force it to download, but if you link to it from a URL where it's embedded on the page you could at least view the PDF in another browser tab/window?

Hi Joep,
The mobile player doesn't allow for the Resources tab or the trigger to "jump to file" as detailed here in this comparison chart.
Hi Ashley,
Is there any way to download a PDF in the player? Not open, download.

Hi Ashley,
We did upload it to the server, but it won't download if you're in the player.

We fixed it. On a separate domain it works.
