I have a project with a paragraph of text and a hyperlink embedded in that paragraph. The hypertext starts near the end of a line and includes a few words, which means it wraps down to the next line as well. The hypertext works fine when previewing in Storyline and when viewing the Flash version of the project. However, when I view the HTML5 output of the project, it does not allow me to click the top line of the hyperlink, only the bottom. The top does not respond at all to mouse clicks.
I've seen a specific customer project that exhibited this behavior in all versions of our output (SL-13491 for my reference), but nothing that was confined strictly to HTML5. The workaround in the above case was to insert a line feed/carriage return immediately before the problematic links on the slide.
If you are able to reproduce the problem in strictly our HTML5 output, we'd love to see a copy of your .story project file so that we can take a closer look at the problem. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. Here is a sample Storyline file that demonstrates the problem. When I build the project and run the HTML5 version the top line "sources of infection or" does not have a hover state and does not accept mouse clicks, but the last line "contamination" works.
