Hyperlinks and triggers

Aug 02, 2013

Hi All,

I have the following issue.

When the user clicks a hyperlink in a text (Link Text), I want 2 triggers to be fired.

1. Sets a variable

2. Jumps to a specific slide

When trying to do this only 1 trigger is fired (any which order i set them). Is this a limitation that when using a link text trigger you cannot have more than 1 trigger ?

Thanks for the ideas

Cheers

Hi Phil,

Never had any problems with hyperlinks. in this particular case I cannot use hotspots or any other object that allows for more than 1 trigger. the scene I'm calling, is a scene which is common to a lot of slides.

This is what I did (i try to make my slides dynamic)

On my Slide Master,on my Return Button, I have a series of triggers that call slides or scenes depending on the content of a variable.  All slides slide inherits from this master, so the button is visible on all of my slides.

The value of the variable (name of the slide to return to (stored in a variable constant)) is set when the user clicks on a hyperlink; the second trigger has to launch a slide or a scene (not a lightbox). when the user clicks on that slide's the return button. The triggers on that button (defined on the master slide) should then jump to the correct page. This all works fine on a hotspot or any other object, excpet for the hyperlinks;

Cheers
