I have a problem with hyperlinks, when I import a translated .doc, and after that I modify something in the slide, the text is converted to hyperlinks. If I move the cursor over the text it looks Highlight.
Hi Emily. Yes when we right click on the text the remove hyperlink option is available and fixed the issue but that's not convenient as the hyperlinks are automatically added to almost all the text in the slide. Also, when we remove the hyperlink some of the styles get lost. In any case, having to remove all the hyperlinks in a 100 slides course is not an option for us. Is there a workaround for this issue?
Are you copying and pasting the text in from another location? That can carry over formatting and cause some unintended behavior - so I'd recommend using an option like copying it into notepad first, which will remove all the formatting.
We are using the import tool to insert the text back to the courses. This was not an issue in this software until Storyline 1 Update 8. And now is also happening in Storyline 2. Not sure what is the problem.
We are using this software for localization purposes, into several languages, we can not remove the formatting. If we remove the formatting then we will not know which words should be bolded, italized or coloured. And also we will need to give the same format as the source in all languages manually.

Hi Sebastian,
Can you right click on the text and see if a "remove hyperlink" option is available?

I saw this when importing a translation file. The client had saved as a docx and saving it back again caused the issue.
Removing the formatting seems to be the only way there is hidden formatting being added probably by your translators

I had to remove the formatting and redo it luckily it was only in 20-30 places in my document, sorry I do not have a better solution.
Thank you Phill for your help anyway. Hope all the bugs that start with update 8 and Storyline 2 will be fixed in the following months.
