I don't think there's a way to get the hyperlink to be active in the Notes panel. I added some text to a slide, added a hyperlink, then copied that into the Notes panel - looks like it is a hyperlink but when published didn't work.
I have recently had clients who like having a website directly available from the player e.g. in this image Google as an alternative to including as a link in the Resource tab.
I experienced the same thing with the non-functioning hyperlink in the Notes panel. Thanks for the direct website on the player idea! I'll suggest that to my client.
Wendy is correct - the notes text is essentially published as an image, so you can't hyperlink to text in it and if you include a link it'll be visible to users but they also won't be able to copy/paste it out of that set up.
