Hyphen display issue

Sep 07, 2016

Hyphens between words are displayed as boxes in some instances on the Menu Tab and in the Notes Tab the hyphens are not positioned centrally and are instead displayed near the top of the words. Kindly suggest measures to rectify.

Hi,

Thank you for the prompt response. But I am not allowed to send the project file as it contains proprietary information.

The hyphen display issue came up on publishing the course. Also I noticed the issue of the hyphen not being positioned centrally comes up not just on the notes tab but also on the content slide in many instances. And on the Menu Tab it shows up as a box.

Hi Nazia,

Thanks for the additional info. What environment are you publishing for and how are you viewing the course once published?  If you open an Articulate Storyline course from your local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail. To properly test your published content and share it with others, make sure to upload it to the environment for which it was published. For instance, if you were to Publish for Web you'll want to upload the published output to a web environment to properly test it.

If you're viewing the published content in it's intended environment and still seeing this behavior, you can also share your .story file privately with us using this form if that would be a better option for you.
