I am new to storyline
Oct 23, 2014
Hello we are looking to use storyline 2 for our CME (Continuing Medical Education) courses for physicians. Our RM's (Risk Managers who are nurse-attorneys) create a ppt, add video and we are going to download these as MP4 to upload into storyline. Now that we have purchased storyline we want to do the following, but here is the prioritity and I am not sure where to start with tutorials:
1. Download the Mp4's and upload into storyline to see if they work
Which tutorial do I need to read/watch
2. Learn how to upload a ppt and create the voice/audio
Which tutorial do I need to read/watch
3. I will learn and apply the interactivity once I figure out 1 and 2.
Can someone assist me as there are many tutorials.
Thank you all for your time.
Lisa

1. To import a video into a Storyline project, select Insert > Video > Video From File.
2. To import a PPT, select File > Import > PowerPoint. To create audio on a slide, select Insert > Audio, and either record or select an existing audio file. Then, in the Timeline at the bottom of the slide, move the images to match up to the right points of the audio.
You can search this site for me info, but it's that easy to get started.

Hi Lisa,
I would watch the following at https://community.articulate.com/series/getting-started-with-articulate-storyline-2 to get started. There is a learning curve to this software though so come back here fo more help

I'm not sure what kind of help you need to download the mp4. This format is supported by storyline. You'll want to upload the video right into the slide. The previous steps will tell you how to create a story and import a PowerPoint and video.
Cheers,
