I Can't change Player text label on responsive player.

Jun 07, 2019

Hello,

I am making quiz content in Japanese using Storyline 360.
When I set the Player text label  to Japanese, the player is set to Japanese.

However, I had a problem with a slide with a Matching drop-down quiz.
The label --select-- translates to Japanese and displays correctly on my computer. But, when viewed on a tablet or smartphone, the label --select-- is displayed without being translated.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Thank you for any advice.

Hello, Michie. Welcome to the community!

I haven't come across this problem, but I'd love to help you investigate. A few questions to help us explore our next steps:

  • What Storyline 360 update are you using? To find this detail, click on the Help tab > About Storyline.
  • Does the untranslated label issue happen on any project file or a specific one?
  • With your permission, I'd like to troubleshoot your .story file (even just the affected slide is perfect!). You can share it publicly here, or share it privately with me here. I'll test it on mobile, and will delete it when we nail down the culprit!

I Check Storyline 360 update. It says ''v3.28.18944.0''

Thank you.
I'll share you my file and image privately.

Thanks.

Hi again, Michie! And those following along:

We logged the 'Select' text in Matching Drop-down questions does not translate to Myanmar (Burmese) as a potential software bug. Specifically, this happens when viewing the content on mobile.

Appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we promise to keep you posted as new information becomes available. Here's a glimpse into how we tackle bugs!
