I've gotten to the point where I am just creating a two slide course where the first slide has a button that goes to the second slide and that is it. This problem still persists. I have never tested a product for SCORM before so I'm new to this.
Here are the steps I am following:
1.) Publish the story as an LMS in Scorm 1.2.
2.) Choose to zip the file in the Publisher.
3.) Upload the zip file in SCORM Cloud.
4.) Then I get the error "Course import failed: zip file contained no courses"
Attached to this is the zip file I am trying to upload. It took me 2 minutes to make this course, it is literally just a button going from one slide to the next.
What browser are you using to try and upload the course? Since it worked for Wendy I suspect there is something that is causing issues with the way you're uploading it. Do you make any other changes to the zip folder after using the option to zip on the publish Window?
Hello all, sorry for the late reply. I was using Chrome. The next day I restarted my computer and it worked fine for me. I'm not sure why that was the case, but thank you both for coming to my aid, I do appreciate it.
I'm having the same issue. I've tried uploading to SCORMCloud.com using Chrome, then again using IE 10, I've rebooted my computer twice an tried again, and I received the same error message each time: "Course import failed: zip file contained no courses". However, earlier in the day, on the same day, I was able to upload the same file to SCORM with no issues.
Did you republish the courses to use different .zip folders, or is it the same exact version? If you republished it, make sure that you chose the same LMS option. Also I'd look to see if you can spot any of the files within the folder if you unzip it?
Glad to hear you were able to upload it, Laura! If you're publishing for web, you'll want to upload to a web server such as Amazon S3 or upload to Tempshare. If you're using SCORM Cloud you'll want to publish for LMS.

Hi Fraser
I just uploaded and ran your zipped file in Scormcloud successfully.

Always good news to hear Fraser - thanks for the update!

I published the story selecting the Web option. Then on the "View Project" dialog box appeared, I selected "ZIP".
I just tried the same process again, and now I was able to upload the file.

Thank you! Good to know!
