This is not a recent problem. Even google does search correct if your search start wit e-learning heroes. Should be nice if Articulate invests in the site, this is a great community.
not sure, but when I create a topic, I get a notification only for the first reply, but not for newer replies. Not sure if it's an Articulate problem.
The Search function is solved and fully working in the new E-learning Heroes community that was launched in October? 2014. Just to update, in case someone finds this topic (via search ;o)

Search on the site is broken. Try searching with http://articusearch.com/
Thanks Michael!

Hi Sjoerd
are you selecting the link above at the top right of the post? That works for me
I will test that, thanks. If that works I am the idiot ;o)
If you go to Google and type "site:articulate.com storyline [your topic]" it searches the forum nicely.
The search functionality is something that our web team is aware of and we are absolutely working to bring you something better soon!
In the meantime, Michael and Brett shared our two recommended solutions
Thanks everyone for the assistance here!
