I recently upgraded from Storyline 1 to Storyline 360. I have trained myself to escape the Preview mode with the Esc Key in Storyline 1, but it does nothing but frustrate me in 360. Please bring it back!
Ah, I feel your pain Jim...those hot keys can be helpful and muscle memory has us reaching for those same things in a new tool.
I know there have been a couple different forum discussions about the hotkey type of behavior in Storyline 360 - and I shared those with our product team as a feature request so I'll loop this one in too!

Great news! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is how the Escape (ESC) key wouldn't exit preview mode.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
