I've gone in and manually checked multiple times, but it appears (from everything I can see) that I see the checkboxes for a quiz question to be white checks on no fill, no border boxes.
However, for some reason, three responses keep popping up with black check marks in preview/publish on Slide 1.27 (even though it shows white on the Slide view).

I focused on slide 1.27 in the latest update of Storyline 360 and saw the same color issue you described. So odd! I don't see any corrupt objects in that slide that could cause this, and I'm also unable to recreate the behavior in a new slide.
After some digging, I found one other reported case where checkboxes and radio buttons colors turn black when selected during Preview and after Publish. I attached this discussion to the report just in case, but I still would like to get a second opinion here.
