I have some simple true/false, multiple choice/single answer, and multiple choice/multi-answer quiz questions. When the learner clicks submit to each question, I want a scoreboard to appear with the learner gaining 1 point and the opposing (team) getting 0 points. Then when the learner goes to the next quiz question, answers the question incorrectly and clicks submit, I want the scoreboard to appear with the learner not gaining any points (remaining at 1, and the opossing (team) getting 1 point. Since I'm a Storyline novice, how can I do this with layers, triggers, and variables?
I assume the 'opposing team' is not real (another player). You could create two variables, one for your score and the other for the opposing team's score. Then on the correct layer for each question, you add 1 to your score, while on the incorrect layer to add 1 to the opposing team's score. See attached a quick mockup of what this might look like. Hope that gets you started.

Thank you soooooo much!!!
I couldn't really find anything on the articulate site, but I knew if would involve layers, variables, and triggers...and I just couldn't put it altogether. There is hope for me, yet.
