I wish they would include the object names in html

Why do we bother naming objects or layers or anything when Articulate ignores the name when publishing out to HTML?
It doesn't add the name as an id...it assigns its own unique id. It doesn't even add it as a non-standard attribute - which it could...

When i write code that let's me know when a layer class changes from slide-layer hidden to shown i would actually like to know WHICH layer was just shown...

Instead i'm going to have to perform a workaround and have the layer declare itself by modifying a Storyline variable with the name of the layer.

...and for what? why not just have the object define itself? you know - like HTML5 does natively for most published pages...

Same thing goes for other objects - text objects, buttons, i could continue to rant...
