There is a issue in IE 10&11 versions for hyperlink. When we click on the button automatically it is closing and not going to open the link which is given for button onclick within same window.
Hello, Chandrasekhar! Thanks for reaching out. I'm happy to help!
I see you shared the published file, but I'd also like to see the original unpublished file. That way, I can see how you set up the hyperlink and nail down what could be causing the issue.
Could you share the single slide with the hyperlink button in a new reply here? Thanks!
I tested your file in all supported web browsers for Storyline 3. The course automatically closed in all browsers, so this isn't just happening in Internet Explorer.
Then I created a test file with a hyperlinked button, and that button works correctly in all browsers. You can test my sample file here.
Can you share the URL you are hyperlinking to? Have you tested another URL to compare?
Thanks for sharing your file. We're seeing the same behavior on our end, so I'm going to share this with our Product team as a possible bug. As soon as I have more information, I'll pass it along to you.
In the meantime, I would use the "display in a new browser window" setting.
Already lot of issues raised from my end... But still not fixed anything
.... Everything you are mentioned as a feature request... For tracking we
need show the link in same window not in new window.....If it works in
chrome means same we want to keep in IE...
Is there any updates on this???.. we are getting lot of queries regarding this from clients... And also please give me the Safari version for html5 support... Latest storyline 3 courses are not opening in Safari 9...
No update on the issue identified in this conversation at this time, but we do have this conversation linked to the report so that we can update you when we can.
I wanted to share some information on how we define bugs and how we tackle them when they occur.
Storyline 3 System Requirements can be found in our documentation here, but the following are the HTML5 viewing requirements you mentioned:
Windows: Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge (latest version), Google Chrome (latest version), Firefox (latest version)

Safari 9 would not be a compatible environment. Hopefully, those learners will be able to update to a newer iOS.
