"Ik" automatically changes into "I"

We just bought the storyline tool, after trying the demo. We are very satisfied, but have language issues.

The dutch translation for " I " is " Ik". The tool autmatically changes this " Ik " into " I ". How do I solve this? Can I reset language options somewhere?

Hi Karen and welcome to Heroes!

Are you currently using Dutch as the main dictionary language or are you using English (US)?

To check/change the dictionary language:

  • Click on the Articulate icon in the top-left of your screen
  • Select 'Storyline Options' at the bottom (next to 'Exit Storyline')
  • Select 'Spelling Options' and then select 'Dutch' from the main dictionary drop-down

Using English (US), "Ik" is auto-corrected to "I" on my machine but when I change the language to Dutch, "Ik" is accepted.
