image offset not working properly once converting to SL3

Mar 16, 2018

Hello

I recently converted my SL2 file to SL3. Almost everything works as expected.

One odd thing occurring that I can not figure out. (It was working properly when published from SL2 in both Flash and HTML5.)

I'm exporting with HTML5 priority, however I'm covering all my bases in my QA process and am testing the Flash output as well. That's where I found this bug.

The rectangle shape has an image fill, bottom offset of 30% (to shift the image up). There is a duplicate rectangle behind it, colored white.

However, it's looking like this in Flash:

Here's how it SHOULD appear:

You can see it in action as well:

HTML5 version

SL3 story file attached. Can anyone help me fix this so the image is properly offset in Flash?

Thanks!

Karen

Hi Karen. I've attached an updated version of your .story file below.

Here are the changes that I made.

  1. Removed the 30% offset.
  2. Adjusted the size of the shape to look the same way as the original.
  3. Changed the shape from Rounded Rectangle to Round Same Side Corner Rectangle so you retain the same look as before. You can adjust the edges to your liking.

Here is what it looks like for Flash. Let me know how it works for you. Cheers!
