I've been tasked with fixing an existing assessment. I placed a web object on both the success layer and failure layer of the result slide using Storyline 2. The image is a .png file. The image doesn't display when I upload the file to tempshare. I've tested it using Chrome, IE, and Safari and no such luck. I can click the empty square and it takes me to the web object in a new screen successfully. I just need the picture to load. Can someone help?

Hi Phil – this is not a bug, but a feature of Web Objects. Here's a bit more detail about that feature from our user guide:
Tip: When Load web object automatically isn't marked, it's helpful to give your web object placeholder a meaningful image, so learners know what it is. To do so, right-click the web object placeholder and select Change Picture. Browse to the image you want to use and click Open. If you change your mind about the image you added, right-click it again and select Reset Picture.
Hi Alyssa, i have also faced a similar issue in presenter and raised a case #02438440. Can you please share the work around to fix the issue? Appreciate your quick support. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing your case number. I can see that Phil is working with you directly to identify the culprit.
In Janelle's support case, she was able to update to the latest Storyline 2 update to get back up and running, but since we've narrowed it down to an object in your file, that doesn't seem to be the issue for you.

Hi Janelle! Happy to help you sort this out. Can you tell me a few more details?
This is really odd why are you loading a png as a web object wouldn't it be easier to insert as png in the course?
Hi Alyssa!
Thank you for replying. To answer your questions:
Hi Phil. I changed the picture of the web object so that it’s not the default grey box displayed.
The image will not show in the course only the web object. Changing the picture of a web object is a bug that shouldn’t be available.
To change the image you would need to change the web object it is pointing at.
Hi Janelle – thanks for those extra details!

Hi Alyssa
I reported this as a bug in the beta and I believe it has been removed. Never realised that was a feature.
