I have two images, both of them are 932px wide. The first image is 3540px long and the second is 1207px long. When I bring them into the Storyline, the first image is only 540px wide at 100% when the second image is 932 px wide at 100%. Is the a way to bring them both into Storyline with originial resolution? Thanks.
Hi Irina, there is some reason, which escapes me right now, why Storyline resizes graphics when it brings them in - you can reset them to their original size by right-clicking on the image, selecting the size option and then clicking the reset button.
I am in the same situation as Irina. I have a large image (2000+ px height) which storyline resizes on import.
In my case, right clicking the image and choosing "reset" doesn't restore the image to its original size, it only resets it to the size Storyline changed it to in the first place (even though the original image size (px) is displayed beside the reset button.
Even though I can manually resize the image within Storyline to its original size, it is quite distorted and is nowhere near as sharp as it should be (format: png 24).
Steve Flowers provided a solution to this problem yesterday - and it works. You have to cut your image in smaller (page size) parts, bring them into Storyline and group. Apparently, Storyline supports images only to 2000px or so, and will re-size them if they are too large.

So is this working as intended?

What is the dpi on the image?
It's 72 dpi.
Too low?
