The images I had inserted appear in the thumbnail story view but not on the slides themselves. This is the case for two different saved storylines. The images are there on the timeline but they're not appearing. They were fine when I saved them a couple of days ago. What am I missing?
You'll want to check that when creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Storyline courses, you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). You may be able to recover the images within your Storyline project by importing it into a new Storyline file.
