I published a storyline presentation and it played wonderfully for over a year in my LMS until about 4 months ago. Now in the LMS the words & images (not video) play faster than the sound. (However, outside the LMS the presentation still plays as expected.) I tried republishing with no success. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Have you tried giving your course a spin in SCORM Cloud to see if the same behavior happens there? That'll give us a better idea of whether this is LMS related or file related.

Have you checked with your LMS administrator to see if there been any updates or option changes in the LMS that may have caused this?

Check to see if it is playing via HTML5 or the Flash plugin. My guess is that it is an HTML5 issue and nothing to do with your LMS.
