Immediate fail when retrying interaction

Hi Nick,

Thanks for sharing your file here. I'm taking a look at the question on slide 2.4, and after selecting the incorrect answers, and seeing the layer I proceed to the review slide and select retry. I'm brought back to the question, and again I can select to move all the answers and I don't see the incorrect layer until I've moved all the potential answers - so it does not seem that I'm experiencing the same thing as you. Could you record a video of this behavior so that I could try to walk through the same steps as you have indicated? 

Can you also let me know how and where you're testing this? I just did the preview - but if you're seeing the behavior only in publish, please let me know if you're testing it locally or within the intended environment. Also what browser are you using to test the content? You'll also want to confirm that you're working on local project files as described here.

This is happening in Articulate and also in the published LMS. Working on a local version.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the video. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that you're not resetting these variables and therefore it's showing that incorrect layer automatically based on the value of the variables. I'm not entirely clear on the purpose of the variables (but I didn't go through the entire course) but removing those, and letting the built in drag and drop functionality take over in terms of which layer to show allows me to retry to interaction countless times. If you'll need to use those variables, you'll want to look at including triggers to reset them based on the user clicking the "retry" button.
