We have courses Published courses for our clients which are hosted on their LMS. Once the support for flash ends what would happen to the courses that were published using Flash only or HTML5 with Flash fallback scorm output, will they cease to function? Also how do we test to know the courses published using HTML5 with Flash fallback won't have any problem.
Hi Luis, any course published to Flash only will stop functioning. Those courses would need to be identified and re-published to HTML5. Any courses published to HTML5 with Flash fallback will continue to function correctly provided they are viewed in a supported browser (modern browser).
Is there a quick way to test published courses to see if they were originally published with HTML5 included? In some cases finding the sources is a tedious job. I want to narrow the list by somehow examining the course when it is running through an LMS while in a browser. Is there a tool/addon the can check that? Can I do it by looking somehow in the browser "under the hood"?
If the course works as expected, then HTML5 is included. If it doesn't, then you will need to find the source file and republish. The articles I shared above should also help as you work through getting your courses ready for a Flash-free life!

Hi Danny,
If you'd like to know if a course has HTML5 included, disable Flash from your browser and run the course as you would normally.
