That's correct. If you're importing a PowerPoint file that includes Articulate Presenter resources (such as audio), be sure that the PPTA file is located in the same folder as the PowerPoint file. Otherwise, Storyline will be able to import only the PowerPoint slides but not the corresponding Articulate Presenter resources. (Articulate Presenter does not need to be installed to import PowerPoint / Presenter content.)
You might want to check the file names of the project and audio. Are there any spaces or special characters in any of the file names? That could cause a problem.
Here is some additional information that may help:
Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).
Haveing a pptX and a pptA in same folder. Trying to import the pptX to Storyline but noting happens. It just stand there loading. The pptx file is about 4 mb and the ppta about 3.3.

Hey Cammen!
Here's how to import PowerPoint / Articulate Presenter content into Storyline.
Although most features in PowerPoint and Articulate Presenter are supported in Storyline, some are not. This article has more details.
Hope that helps
Thank you. When I import .ppt in Storyline, the .pptA file goes along with it as one package, is that correct?

Hi Jacob,
Do you receive an error message when trying to import the Presenter file? Are you following along the the directions here to import into Powerpoint? It's also important to note the following things when importing from Powerpoint into Storyline.
