Hi Mohammd. Welcome to the community!

Importing PowerPoint content into Storyline is not an exact one-to-one conversion. As a result, text may look a bit different. And although most features in PowerPoint and Articulate Presenter are supported in Storyline, some are not. For more information, please take a look at the following article:

Articulate Support > Things to consider when importing PowerPoint into Storyline

Also, thanks for the file. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't really show us the issue you're experiencing in Storyline. Are you able to adjust the images in your Storyline project itself? If not, can you post the .STORY file for the project?

Thanks!

Hi Mohammd,

Thanks for the file! I took a look and I can see what you mean. It looks like the images are all missing.

I took the original PowerPoint file you posted earlier and imported the content from the file into the same course. All of the images are showing up for me. I'll attach the modified file, so you can take a look.

First, make sure you're taking the right steps to import the file. Second, make sure the file you're importing and the file you're modifying are both on your local hard drive.

  1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Hi Mohammd,

It may be because the animations created in PowerPoint don't quite carry over in a supported animation type in Storyline. If you're still working with this and you'd like some additional suggestions, you're always welcome to share the files with our support team. I'm sure they'd be happy to take a look and see if they can either confirm my findings, or provide some tips to get this working the way you'd like.

You'll be able to attach the .STORY file on the second page of the following form:

Articulate Support - Submit a Support Case

Please be sure to include a description of your issue. Please also include the URL for this thread in the form. Also, please share the case number with me. You're welcome to do so here, or in a private message. This way I can follow the progress of the case and update this thread.

Thanks!
