Hello Heroes - I have a hangman slide (SL360) that I'm trying to import into another course (SL360). When I do, random text boxes disappear. I've also tried copy/paste & I get the same result. I'm hoping that someone can help me solve this mystery. Image 1 is the original, image 2 is after import. I can also send the SL360 files, if needed.
Not sure what the problem is, but a quick glance shows that the ones that import are the ones without the slash mark in the clicked state. The others are losing the letter in the normal state. The clicked state is there, but funny.
Quick guess: something about the way the states were created, but not sure what.
Thanks for sharing your files! I tested it myself importing into a new .story file and I didn't notice any missing letters. Easier to see in the Hangman example, but I also checked the Applicators version.
Do you know if you're on the latest update of Articulate 360, Update 12?
One thought though, I didn't have all your fonts installed and I saw the notice about missing fonts like Helvetica Neue. So perhaps that's the missing piece? I know I saw an oddly similar issue before, and it was resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the font. Can you let me know if that helps?
Also, in addition to not copying/pasting I always like to share a reminder about working locally too. Some really great best practices linked in that article - so I hope it helps too!
Thanks Ashley. It may well be a font issue since a coworker did not have missing letters. I do try to stay current on updates, but I will check that issue as well. And yes, working locally is consistent for me. Thanks so much!!!

For future consideration: copy and paste almost always has this sort of results; you will almost always be happier using import.
For this problem, yes please send the two slides, but in separate stories.
Yes, import was my first option, but since that didn't work....I've attached both stories.
