I imported a Powerpoint files. I changed the trigger "jump to the next slide when timeline end" for 2 triggers (printscreen) but when a preview my file nothing change, my triggers wasn't considerate.
I want this trigger : Jump to the next slide when the user clic on the next button.
I want the next button be available just when the timeline end. So I use a variable to manage this behaviour so my variable change when the timeline is end.
Can you check if your timeline finishes? because if it doesn't, the next button will not work.
Also it would be useful to see your project in action.
See my attached working example of what I think you described. Only when the timeline stops, the next button works. The only modification I did is resetting the variable when you re-enter the slide since I want the same behavior each time you see the slide.
Hi, Marielle - I agree with Phil that you need to set each slide to Advance by User rather than automatically, but you might also want to set the Player to Restricted in the Player Tab. Please check this out for more info. on how to Restrict or Lock Navigation Throughout a Course. Please check out the screenshots provided for setting Advance by User, and Restricting the Navigation:

In story view you must set each slide to advance by user rather than automatically, editing the trigger alone will not change this behaviour.
