We use Storyline (1) today and have some professional templates made for our company.
Now we’re thinking of upgrade to Storyline 2 and my question is if we need to update our templates in any special ways or we just can import them as they are today?
I'd agree that it should be a smooth transition, but if you've got a template handy go ahead and download the trial of Storyline 2 and give it a test. When you upgrade an SL1 file it'll automatically make a back up copy as well so you won't have to worry about losing your work.

You might need to adjust some textfields but no big changes. So go ahead and upgrade.
