I have a module that needs to be published in 6 different languages. The transcripts were exported from the Storyline file, and appear to have been correctly edited. After looking through other forum posts, I can't find any additional errors. However, when I try to import the translated document I get the following message: "Not a Valid Word Document ".
This thread is a bit older, and I'm not certain that Julia is still subscribed, but I'm unsure what she did to resolve the issue. I don't know much about the Office Latin version - but are you able to change it to an English version? Have you also looked to confirm that you're working with project files that are saved locally according to the directions here.
Thanks Iratxe - and working off a network drive vs. local drive is known to cause issues in Storyline files, so let us know how it goes. You'll also want to test it in a new file saved locally vs. just saving this troublesome file to a local drive.
We tried again saving the document in a local drive but the error message appeared again. Then we realized that the language configuration was in Spanish so we changed it and the problem was solved.
The person who is translating the word document had changed language configuration to Spanish in order to avoid corrections but it was a bad idea ;).

Okay, well, never mind. For reasons I don't understand, the documents suddenly started importing. I have no clue why. But it works now.
Thanks for the update Julia - and if you encounter it again let us know.
Hi Julia and Ashley,
Did you do some task in order to solve this problem?
It is happening me and I can not solve it. Could it be something related with Office Latin version?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks Ashley. I wrote my issue here because It is the same as Julia's issue.
I will try to save my project and my translation document locally.
Best regards
