Imported videos appearing with a green line from 7th April Update
Apr 20, 2020
I'm having issues with imported videos. When I import a video in the new 7th April update of storyline a green line appears at the bottom of the video. At first I thought this may be an export issue but the video is the same as the ones I've uploaded to previous versions of storyline. So I installed the older 3rd March version of storyline and the video imported in fine. It was only when I saved the file, reinstalled the 7th April version and opened the file. The video then looked fine for a second and then showed the green line again...
For now thankfully I can just work in the older version. But a fix or explanation would be much appreciated as I'd like to keep my storyline on the most recent version.
I've attached screenshots of the video in both versions.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for reaching out, and great call to open a case! I see my teammate, Ronaziel, is troubleshooting your files as we speak, so I encourage you to keep at it with her to get to the root of the issue!
I'll follow along as well to share any relevant insight here!

Hi there, Academii!
I'm sorry to hear you're also seeing this problem! The nature of this behavior has been a tough one for us to identify and recreate.
Do you see the green line in a new Storyline file? Also, would you be willing to connect with our Support Engineers so we work closely with you to get to the root of what may be happening?
This is still an issue.

Hi there, I've also got the same issue, is installing an older version the current solution for this?
So sorry for the trouble, Nazli!
We haven't seen reports of the line appearing in Storyline 360 Update 37. You can try temporarily rolling back to this earlier release:
I'll share your experience and circle back as soon as we know more!
Please add me to the notification list as well, thank you. I have a two day course that is entirely video based. much appreciated!
I am having the same issue too. Please add me also to the notification list.

I too am experiencing this issue.
Storyline version attached in an image, since you can't copy paste it or go back and forth between two windows to type out ;)
Hi Alex,
I'm sorry to hear you're running into this as well, and I appreciate the screenshot of the version you're on.

Hi everyone!
I'm excited to report that we just shipped this fix in today's update for Storyline 360!
Fixed: Sometimes a line appeared across videos in the Storyline 360 editor.
All you need to do is update your Articulate 360 desktop app to make sure you're using Storyline 360 Update 40 (Build 3.40.22208.0)! Head over here to see the feature and fixes included in this version.
Hello All,
This appears to still be an issue for certain videos on Build 3.40.22208.0
Hi Mark,
Apologies for the error! If you look at the version history for Storyline 360, this fix was made in Update 41 on June 23rd, 2020.
Try updating Storyline 360 to the latest version, and if you still see the error after that, connect with a support engineer to take a closer look at the video!
Hi Ren,
I'll give Build 3.41.22450.0 (and later) a go.
Thanks,
Mark
