importing a Powerpoint presentation into Storyline

Our current process is importing Powerpoint presentation into Storyline. One of the reasons we do this, is that we use Powerpoint as our storyboard. Is their an option in Storyline to create a Storyboard besides, publishing to Word?
Also, if there are other members of the group, who Import Powerpoint presentation into Storyline, how does the finished product look? Can you fully utilize all the Storyline features or are you hampered? Do you feel it would just be easier creating the presentation in Storyline? For example, could you add text variables to an imported Powerpoint presentation.
Thanks!

Hi April, and welcome to the Heroes Community
I mostly import a PowerPoint presentation, then keep it in an "Inspiration Scene".
Many features do not translate 1:!, (animations for example), but I use the .ppt/.pptx file as the "spirit" of the Storyline file, and then pretty much build from scratch.
Once again, welcome to this vibrant community, and hope to see you around.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your advice. It's not every day I got a response from a super hero. Based on your experience, what is the best way to learn Storyline?
Thank you,
April
Hiya!
In my opinion, the best way is to start at http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/articulate-storyline.aspx
Get a subject that you like, or have always wanted to build, and then just start building!
Good luck.
Bruce
