Hello, Martine! You can import both Studio 09 and Studio 13 project files into Storyline 2. This article describes the import process in general. As far as having Studio 09 applications installed: you do not need Presenter or Quizmaker installed to import those files into Storyline 2. You do, however, need to have Engage '09 installed to import those interactions. See this article for more details.

Most PowerPoint content is supported in Storyline 2, but there are a few exceptions.
