importing different scenes into one new project

Jul 02, 2019

Hi,

I have created multiple storyline projects. I want to import all of them (10) into one scene (a lot of them are screenrecordings). However this is not working. When I try to import them via 'slides '< 'import', they are not all included and a lot of the scenes are grey. When I try to publish them I get the error 'We're sorry, something went wrong with Articulate Storyline and it might close'.

I have asked this also to courseware, they've told me to check my laptop's capacity and to deinstall and reinstall articulate. I have done all that, but however it is still not working.

I will attach 4 of the storylines I want to import in one and that is already giving me the error.

Hi Hannah,

I took a look at all your files and was able to successfully import into a new file. I uploaded it here for you to download if you'd like.

If you're running into space/capacity issues, it's worth checking that you not only meet but exceed the minimum requirements outlined here. I'd also look at purging any lingering files in your temp folder and closing down other applications while trying to accomplish a memory intensive task such as an import.

Here's how to purge those temp files:

  1. Open Windows Explorer, type %temp% in the address field, and press Enter.
  2. When your temp directory opens, press Ctrl+A to select all the temp files, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
  3. A few temp files may currently be in use that can't be deleted. When prompted, you can skip those.
  4. You can now try importing your projects again.

Let me know if that helps!
