Hi all, I am capturing simulations in Epiplex and need to insert these into Storyline as flash files. I have published these as single flash files, Dynamic HTML and Adobe Flash. However, it does not import successfully. What am I doing wrong, or are these two programs not compatible?

Hi all, if anyone wants to know, Storyline and Epiplex500 do NOT talk to each other.
Epiplex500 outputs the simulation content with flash scripting but Storyline supports frame based flash content. So you would be not able to use Epiplex500 flash content in Storyline.
The newly updated Epiplex500 media does not support flash as the simulations are now generated in HTML5 (which does not work in either Storyline or Powerpoint).
You are the best, all of you! THANK YOU - it works. I had to publish the Epiplex files as Flash (or Single Flash) and then import it as Web Objects, as suggested. It gives an error message but one can just ignore it and carry on, this is something we will sort out later. I believe it has something to do with the settings on my laptop, or possible the LMS, where it was tested as well. But it will definitely make it much easier and simpler for the learner.

Have you tried displaying your published simulations inside Storyline webobjects?

Here is additional information on how to add web objects to Storyline.
