Importing from PowerPoint

Greetings!

I'm fairly new to Storyline, so I apologize if this is a duplicate question. I am making changes to some old training that was built in PowerPoint. I've imported the PPT slideshow into Storyline and now am ready to edit. The first thing I want to do is apply a new master template to the background of my slides. 

I have created the new master slides and they show up when I try to select them. However, when I select the template that I want nothing happens. Why is this?

I'm able to create a new slide with the new template and copy all of the content, but then why would I use the import feature? Any suggestions?

Adrian,

Thank you for pointing that out! Turns out that it must import with "Background Styles" checked, which makes it impossible to see the theme slide(s). The good news is that all you have to do is un-check "Hide Background Graphics" (see below)

This will allow you to add a custom theme or background.
