Did you recently apply the latest update (v3.32.20313.0) for Storyline?
Have you already conducted a repair for your Articulate software?
You can try importing the .story file into a new Storyline project and then try conducting the import again.
With your permission, you may also upload the copy of your ppt file here so we can also check it on our end.
In case you need to share the file privately, please open up a support case to the Support Engineers so they can take a closer look at your project file.

Storyline received an error when trying to import your PPT. This is an internal Storyline problem. I recommend opening a support case.
