I am trying to import PowerPoint screencasts - that have been edited using PowerPoint. I have saved my revisions in PowerPoint, however each time I try to import into Storyline 3, it imports the "old" unedited version. I'm extremely puzzled...is there a cache or recycle bin I need to empty for this to stop? I need the newest versions in my Storyline.
Hi Ashley - unfortunately I tried to save on my c and re-import..however unsuccessful once they were in Storyline. I am puzzled, as the version of the saved PowerPoint is not the version importing.
The edits were merely time edits (editing my entrance & exits in the PowerPoint deck videos).
I will try again this evening, thanks so much for your help!
Whoa - sorry I'm just getting back to you now, but I'm so glad to hear that worked! Try to keep working on files from your C drive to prevent any odd behavior in the future. Let us know if you need anything else!

Hi Stacey,
Where are you saving the Powerpoints and importing them into Storyline? You'll want to make sure you're working with local project files as working from a network/shared drive could be a part of the issue.
Also, what types of edits are you doing in Powerpoint? You'll want to take a look at the supported powerpoint elements in Storyline here.
Hi Ashley - yes, they are on a shared drive. Thanks so much for the link - I will go and check that out ASAP.

Hi Ashley.
I wanted to let you know, to resolve this I ended up exporting the ppt’s to mp4.
Thanks!
