I should have also added that, if you have already started building your Storyline course, you can import PowerPoint slides by selecting the Import option from the Slides tab on the menu bar. The rest of the process is as shown in the video above.
That is an unusual outcome as this works every time for me. What I suggest first of all is either use or create another presentation (only needs two or three slides) and then try again with that just in case the one you are trying to import is what is causing the problem.
If you still have the error whichever presentation you try to import, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Storyline to see if that solves the problem. This link should help.

Thanks for the Peek, unfortunately when I select import ppt I get an error message. See attachment screenshot.
There is a link button to "Find Out Why" I followed all the directions in there and still no luck.
