Improve the quality of my work
Sep 19, 2014
Hi ,
I have worked for quite some time on a law course for a teacher.
It was my first time using Artivulate storyline.
I asked the teacher to give me his entire course on word, and asked him to identify elements with specific colours (Main element, examples, reference, reminder etc.) The idea was to use a specific icone/colour for each type of element and therefore give to the students a easy way to spot them. The idea was also to avoid giving too much written information (with long sentences) to the student, but rather use the audio and leave on each corresponding slide the most important elements to read. i also synchronized each element so that it appears at the exact time the teacher mentions it on the audio.
I have used the image of a man to represent the teacher.
One year after , students came back quite happy with that course. However when i look at it, i don't like it, plus find really not easy to handle for any future changes.
I think it's not great visually speaking, i think there are too many small elements, that the teacher is of no use, and that my slides have too many layers (which was the only solution i found to spread ou the content of really long parts in the course)
I'd like to improve the general aspect of my work, make it more professional, not so complicated, easier to handle for changes, more beautiful and clear to watch... but i' don't know how.
If anyone would be kind enough to have a quick look at my work and give me hints of how to improve it, i would appreciate it a lot!!!! So far i am stuck!!
Apologies for my english (i a french )
Good day to everyone,
Estelle

Hello Estelle!
There are definitely members here who can give you some insight and advice, but you may also want to post this on the Building Better Courses forum for additional ideas from other members!
Estelle,
Bonne chance.

Hi emily and Al,
Thanks for your replies.
Emily, i will follow your advice and post my question on the Building Better Courses forum for additional ideas.
A+
Merci !
merci !
