In Progress Showing in LMS After Quiz is Completed

Oct 24, 2012

Hi All,

I'm hoping you can help me with an issue that has been plaguing me for a while.

I am loading a quiz I built in Storyline on our corporate LMS (GeoLearning by Sum Total Systems).   When I test the course, it shows my score but still shows the status as In Progress.

is there a way to have the status show as Completed without having to manually changet this status for every user?

Thanks so much,

Randi

Hey Randi!

Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. This article may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Hi PeterI have a similar (ish) problem to Randi. I am using storyline to create a simple two button quiz that allows managers to confirm that Local inductions are complete. All they need to do is go in select one of two choices and then exit. I have a results slide that is showing 100% completion when previewed, but the LMS (Kallidus) only shows the course "in progress" when we run it on the LMS.Any help is appreciated!Best RegardsEvan

Hi PeterI tried to upload the course to the SCORM Cloud but when I tried to preview it the new window opened but there was an error on the page. I will try again tomorrow just in case it is a transisent issue. On the sand box page there was this comment: The Sequencing Control Mode 'Flow' was detected on a leaf node, but is only applicable to cluster nodes. What does this mean? With regard to running the course on Kallidus - I am getting closer. When the course has been completed the progress bar still says in progress, but the score is shown as 100%. All I need to do is get the progress bar to change.Best regardsEvan
