Include Review Feedback when publishing for Word

Aug 16, 2019

Dear Storyline-savvy people :-)

I'm using Storyline 3 for a while now and have to convert quite many quizzes from Articulate Quizmaker to Storyline format.

So far so good, but when I'm publishing my files to Word, to document a question set, Quizmaker used to automatically include the review feedback for every question, if there was one. In Storyline 3 however, it is not included and I can't seem to find an option to tick or so, nor can I find an entry in the forum that would explain it to me.

Any clever people out there that know how to?

Many thanks in advance for your support,

Karsten

Hello Karsten and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you would like to see in your published Word output.

Here are my publish to Word settings:

I am seeing the Review content:

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Hi Leslie,

thanks for coming back on my question, and apologies for my late reply. I'm a bit "snowed under" just now.

I see the difference between your Word publishing settings and mine, in that I switched off the layers, and as review feedbacks are layers, this obviously prevents them from being shown in the document. I had them switched off, as also all the other layers (for success, failure, etc.) are published, which I don't need in my documentation ...

However, having the settings ticked to match your screenshot brings my Storyline 3 to a grinding hold after slide number 3, no matter what set of questions I try to publish.

I'll share it through your link just now, maybe you can see something I don't.

Thanks again for your support,

Karsten
