Induction
Nov 17, 2014
Hi all,
I am looking at creating our company induction on articulate storyline. Is it possible to upload this content to another site for all colleagues to access?
I am aware of the Articulate Online / Web options when a project is published but was wondering which one would help with the above?
Many Thanks
Adam

Hello Adam!
Here is some information about ways to publish your content from Storyline. There are a few free options to consider as well if you use Web Publish:
Tempshare: This is a free service provided by Articulate for testing Storyline content. Note: Uploaded files will be deleted after 10 days.
Amazon S3: Amazon S3 offers free hosting with generous usage limits. If you go over your limit, you'll be charged a graduated fee.
Dropbox: Place your published output in the Public folder in your Dropbox account to share it with others.
Google Drive: Change the story.html file to index.html and set the sharing permissions to Public. Here's how.
Many Thanks Emily.
If I wanted to upload a file to our Intranet or SharePoint - which option would you advise?
Looking at the information you provided - I would use Web share and use the FTP function when publishing?
Hello Adam,
I am not too familiar with Sharepoint, but I believe you would publish for web using this option. Here are some older threads that may help out.
Display Storyline on Sharepoint
Articulate and Sharepoint
Many Thanks Emily.
I guess my main question is being able to upload content online without this expiring after 10 days?
Tempshare is the only one in the list Emily mentioned that would have it expire after 10 days, and that is mostly for testing content. As Emily shared you may also want to review those other threads in regards to placing your content within Sharepoint, as I'm not familiar with how it'll host the published output files.
