I'd like to make a screencast / tutorial about something I'm doing in Storyline. When I click on "insert record screen", everything is available to record except for Articulate, whose tab disappears. Should I use screenr to do this?
When you attempt to record your screen in Storyline, it's normal for Storyline to "minimize" itself, so you have access to your screen. This is by design. If you'd like to record something you're doing in a Storyline course, while editing, you can open another instance of Storyline and record the actions. If you need that recording in the initial file, you can import the slide containing the video into the original course.
If you're just wanting to record the course itself, you could publish the course and either upload it to a web server or LMS, or you can publish it for CD. Run the course and record it using the screen recorder.
