Today is my first try at using Storlyline 360 and I've started my first tutorial, the one on creating your first slide. When instructed to add background, when I go to the insert tab on the ribbon, none of the options are highlighted, I can't select insert shape. The only option that is highlighted and therefore available for use is the trigger selection and the publish button. This is happening on the practice story in the tutorial, and even on a new, blank slide that I create from scratch. Is this a glitch, or am I doing something wrong?

Were you still in StoryView and not on a slide yet? Yup, it happens.
Glad you were able to nail it down and I appreciate you chiming in with an update as well.
